Languages Dept

The Languages Department comprises of English Language, Literature in English (which is incorporated in English Language in Junior classes), French language, Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba languages.

There are teachers in this department who are well-qualified and dynamic in their teaching approach as well as having a wide range of experience. This department deals with communication skills which of course are at the backbone of so many other subjects. The good grounding that the department members give students helps them immeasurably in the assimilation of other subjects. The Language Department teachers are also keen to see their students becoming multi-lingual not just in Nigerian languages, as this gears the students to be ‘all round efficient’.
